Bridgeport (WV) – JCFilms, a faith and family film production company has produced over 20 feature films starring such names as Erik Estrada and Dean Cain.  Now, the West Virginia based movie company is releasing three feature films (Coronavirus Trilogy) dealing with the coronavirus, the quarantine, and the impact of the pandemic.

The first of these films is titled, ‘CORONAVIRUS: Patient Zero’ and is inspired by actual events. Its setting is in early January 2020, when a young girl enters an urgent-care clinic in a suburb north of Seattle with a slightly elevated temperature and a cough she’d developed from a family trip to Wuhan, China.

Coronavirus: Patient Zero can be viewed on Amazon Prime.

The purpose of these films is to help kids better understand the virus.

“A lot of kids are scared, mine are… so, we wanted to make a film to help curve that fear as well as celebrate the many heroes behind the pandemic,” said Jason Campbell, Producer, Writer & President of JCFilms.

A trailer of the film can be seen at:  https://www.jcfilms.org/series

The story in the film takes place at an Urgent Care Center in Kirkland, Washington and loosely follows the true narrative on how the Coronavirus came to America.   Campbell says the overall theme of the film comes from Genesis 50:20 ‘what the enemy has meant for evil, God will use for good’.
