We're still in the thick of winter, but spring bridal season is right around the corner. Meadowbrook Mall, along with sponsor Tuscan Sun Spa & Salon, is once again hosting its annual Bridal Extravaganza – a one-stop shop for brides-to-be. Tuscan Sun Spa & Salon’s Spring Bridal Extravaganza will be held at Meadowbrook Mall 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8.

 

“Spring Bridal Extravaganza has always been one of the largest and most popular events for us,” said Meadowbrook Mall Marketing Director Robin Urquhart. “Brides from our 14-county market love the event, which offers brides a great selection of bridal vendors so they are able to plan their wedding - from the cake to the honeymoon - all in one day at one location.”

 

Still three weeks out from the event, more than 30 vendors are on board. Information and demos will feature all aspects of wedding planning, including flowers, catering, fashion, photography and much more. The event is free and open to the public, Urquhart said.

 

Registration will take place near Chick-fil-A and the first 100 brides will receive free tote bags with samples from Sephora (located inside JCPenney), while supplies last.

 

Every registered bride will have the chance to win thousands of dollars in door prizes including the grand prize, two round-trip airline tickets from Pittsburgh to choice of Cancun or Punta Cana, courtesy of Clarksburg Travel Service and Apple Vacation Charters.

 

Attending brides will have the chance to win a bridal luncheon at Bridgeport Conference Center for up to 25 people, bridal shower cake/cupcakes from Bake-N-Memories; one week of fitness classes at Cool Fitness, a 30-minute relaxation massage from The Chiropractic Care Center, one night’s lodging for two, including day lift tickets, at Wisp Resort; an overnight stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clarksburg; $50 off a wedding purchase from The Cupcakerie; free airbrush makeup application from The Spa at The Waterfront; $50 Certificate for Suzi’s Cakes & Catering from Scott Hill Occasions; free wedding engagement photo package from EJT Photography and many other prizes.

Prize drawings will take place following a bridal and prom fashion show which will begin at 3 p.m.  The style show will be presented Oliverio’s Bridal & Prom Boutique. WBOY 12 News anchor, Gretchen Ross, will serve as the emcee.
