Missoula Children's Theatre Brings "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to Local Stage

By Trina Runner on November 17, 2018 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

With elements like poisoned apples, talking mirrors, and a glass coffin surrounded by woodland creatures and seven dwarfs, it’s no surprise that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has been a classic since it was written in 1812 by the Brothers Grimm.

On Saturday, the show will come to life featuring nearly 70 local children from Kindergarten to 12thgrade.  The show was the first in a series of plays organized by Michelle Skaggs and Lynn Davis after they started bringing the Missoula Theatre to Bridgeport twelve years ago. This year’s production is the first repeat of the performance since and showcases the talents of the Missoula professionals who create the entire production in just seven days.

Anticipating the performances of Missoula Children’s Theatre has become a tradition each November for local patrons.  This year’s performance of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” will take place on November 17, with shows at 2:00p.m. and 7:00p.m. at the Bridgeport High School Auditorium.
