The City Parks of Clarksburg has announced that chart-topping and platinum selling country artist Jerrod Niemann is set to perform at the Clarksburg Amphitheater on Saturday, August 20, 2016.

Niemann—who has also written songs for and with such artists as Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, and Lee Brice—exploded onto the scene with his chart-topping debut, 2010’s Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury, and hasn’t looked back since.

John Cooper, Superintendent of Parks, said, “We’re excited to add another great show to this year’s line up, which also includes the upcoming and sold out Casting Crowns concert, the family friendly KIDZ BOP concert and the recent Chase Rice concert which also sold out.” Cooper added, “We may not stop there, we’re continuing to search for a good fit to bring out another rock show out this year.”

Jerrod Niemann is best known for his No. 1 hits “Drink to That All Night” and the RIAA-certified Platinum “Lover, Lover” as well as “What Do You Want,” “Donkey” and “Shinin’ On Me.”
