The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center is adding some highly requested and exclusive fall events to its schedule that will appeal to all audiences.

Back by popular demand, is Disney’s Hocus Pocus on Sunday, October 20 at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. This is a special “Sip & See” movie event where patrons 21 and older can purchase the Sanderson Sisters’ famous Witch’s Brew to enjoy while they watch the Halloween classic in the historic theatre. After the event sold out last season, the requests haven’t stopped for the beloved film to be shown again. Tickets are $7 (all taxes and fees included) and are reserved seating.

Operations Manager, Bobby Rexroad says, “With the overwhelming success of the Witch’s Brew Sangria last season, we are happy to announce that the Sanderson Sisters have once again provided us exclusive access to their spellbook for a new wicked concoction for our patrons to enjoy.”

Dance the night away on the historic stage of the Robinson Grand at its inaugural “Grand Costume Ball” to benefit Robinson Grand Community Theatre. The event will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 8-11 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m. Guests get the whole package with appetizers and a drink ticket included in the ticket cost of the event. A silent auction will be held throughout the evening featuring exclusive items from the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center. Costume contests and prizes will also bring out the fun of this festive season with performances by the cast of Annie rounding out the night. All proceeds go towards Robinson Grand Community Theatre and its debut production of Annie the Musical. This event is sponsored by Quality Machine, Inc. and tickets are $25 (all taxes and fees included).

“The Grand Costume Ball not only meets a fundraising need, but it really provides the area with a new and exciting event that adults can enjoy this Halloween season. We see all kinds of trunk or treats and haunted houses, but this is an event that caters to adults of all ages and gives them a chance to dress up in costume, come out for some good food, drinks, and dancing, and give back to a worthy cause,” states RGCT Program Director, Emily Moore.

Lastly, the world premiere of locally produced Desk Clerk will be held on Friday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Filmed locally in and around the greater Clarksburg area using mostly local talent, the film features locations such as the Holiday Inn Express in Bridgeport and hotels around the White Oaks area of Bridgeport. Michelle Bowser (My Uncle John is a Zombie) stars as the night auditor of the Sleepytime Inn, where she handles irate guests with insane complaints, incompetent coworkers, stingy bosses, and physically exhausting adventures she never thought would come along with a "desk job." Also starring horror icon Lynn Lowry (The Crazies and I Drink Your Blood) as the therapist who helps Michelle cope with the stresses of her job. Tickets range in prices from $10.00 - $50.00 containing perks such as movie posters, DVDs, novels, and other novelty items.
Tickets will go on sale for all three events this Friday, September 27 at 10 a.m. EST. There are two ways to get tickets. Go online at tickets.therobinsongrand.com or purchase tickets over the phone by calling (855)-773-6283 on Monday through Friday, 10am – 11pm.
