The Robinson Grant Performing Arts Center has added three concerts to its schedule from acts that will appeal to a variety of music genres.

Teaming up with the West Virginia Jazz Society, pianist/composer/educator Monika Herzig will debut her latest project, SHEroes, at 8 p.m., Friday, March 20.

Created and led by Herzig, the all-female all “first-call” talent group features a cast of international virtuosi; including Leni Stern (guitar, Germany/USA), Ingrid Jensen (trumpet, Canada/USA), Ada Rovatti (saxophone, Italy), Jamie Baum (flutes, USA), Reut Regev (trombone, Israel/USA), Jennifer Vincent (bass, USA), Rosa Avila (drums, Mexico) and Mayra Casales (percussion, Cuba/US).

“We are thoroughly excited to release these diverse events due to numerous requests from patrons and community members alike,” Robinson Grand Executive Director Ryan Tolley said. “Monika Herzig’s SHEroes will offer jazz in a unique on-stage setting, giving audience members an intimate seating arrangement on the historic Robinson Grand stage.”

Performing at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17 will be The 3 Redneck Tenors who have been a Top 10 finalist on America’s Got Talent and featured on Larry the Cable Guy’s History Channel show Only in America. Their new show, Broadway Bound, is a mixture of down home laughs with big city music. It has been said that if “Larry the Cable Guy, II Divo and Mrs. Doubtfire had a baby, that child would be The 3 Redneck Tenors.”

“Broadway Bound features a much-requested return of The 3 Redneck Tenors to Clarksburg,” Tolley said. “They will be performing Broadway classics with their unique blend of comedy, personality and amazing talent.”

Taking the Grand Robinson stage at 8 p.m., Friday, May 8 will be American surf rock group Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute. Sail On is one of the premier Beach Boys tribute bands, performing more than 100 shows a year. Sail On plays all of the Beach Boys’ classics plus some hidden gems from the Beach Boys’ deep catalog, recreating a soundtrack perfect for an “Endless Summer” completely live and in rich detail.

Tickets can be purchased at tickets.therobinsongrand.com or by phone at 855-773-6283 between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Box Office and main doors to the theatre open one hour prior to the start of each concert to allow patrons time to find their seats, purchase refreshments and enjoy the historic venue.
