By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on August 14, 2014 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

The City Parks of Clarksburg will end their annual ‘Movies in the Park’ series with a special showing of “The Lego Movie” tomorrow night (Friday, August 15th) at the Clarksburg Amphitheater. This free movie will be shown on the park’s 25’ by 14’ inflatable screen beginning at dusk.

John Cooper, Superintendent of Parks, said, “We’re excited to end the movie series with one of the biggest films of the year. This season has really been fantastic in terms of families coming out and enjoying the films. FROZEN was by far the most popular movie of the series with an estimated 900 people in attendance. It was really remarkable and we’re looking forward to next summer’s movie series.”

Guests are encouraged to utilize the venue’s seating, but may also bring their own chairs or blankets if desired. Concessions will be available.

The Clarksburg Amphitheater is owned and operated by the City of Clarksburg Board of Park Commissioners and is located within Veteran’s Memorial Park.
