West Virginia Public Theatre Holding Auditions for "A Christmas Carol"

West Virginia Public Theatre will be holding local auditions for its holiday-time production of "A Christmas Carol" on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Gladys G. Davis Theatre, Creative Arts Center Main Floor at 1 Fine Arts Drive, Morgantown, West Virginia. 
 
Both Actors' Equity Association members and non-professionals are welcome to audition for 1 Guest Artist, Tier III contract for "Scrooge." Rehearsals exclude Nov. 23 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Rehearsal/production dates are Nov. 21 through Dec. 20. Housing will be provided for out-of-town actors.
 
Parking is available in the Creative Arts Center parking lot. Individuals should enter the main lobby doors and walk to the right. The Gladys G. Davis Theatre is located at the end of the small hallway on the right.
 
Interested applicants should bring a current resume and headshot and be prepared to deliver a one- to two-minute monologue and 136 bars of a song, a cappella. Applicants may be asked to cold read from the show script.
