After being washed out Friday night, the 2013 Benedum Festival was in full swing today with big numbers turning out for rides, games, live entertainment, festival fare and other attractions; a classic car show and oil and gas expo included.

The day kicked off with a 5K run taking off at Bridgeport track and field and a Kiwanis Club fishing derby at Hinkle & Deegan Lakes.

Following an all-day line-up of entertainers - many of the Bridgeport area - the day is to conclude with a laser show and fireworks display.
