Time Travel: Old Time Bridgeport Baseball and Ramp off Route 50 in Clarksburg to Adamston No Longer There

Based on the uniforms and the mitts, this photo is likely from the early 1900s, although no date is specific. The photo was also believed to have been taken on Gordon Street. If anyone has any information, please include it in the comment section below.
This photo, believed to be from the early 1970s, shows the train track that runs along U.S. Route 50 between Adamston and North View in Clarksburg. To the right, as well as under the train, is an on/off ramp that was eventually removed. Does anyone know why that ramp was removed? If so, please comment below.
