How long have you lived in Bridgeport?  I have lived in Bridgeport almost 50 years — since Junior High School.

 

Where are you originally from?  Monongah, WV 

 

Are you married?  Yes, for 38 years to Steve Stout.

 

Children?  We have 3 children.   Natalie (36) - New York City, Emilee (32) - Bridgeport, with husband Matt and Stephen (27) - Bridgeport.

 

What is your favorite color?  Pink

 

Where do you work?   I am a retired dental hygienist.  I worked from college to retirement at the same office - Wilson Martino Dental.

 

Favorite Bridgeport spot?  Johnson Avenue   All 5 of us are Bridgeport High School graduates. The schools, ball fields and track bring the most wonderful memories.

 

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  The Greenbrier

 

Favorite place outside of WV?  Our family lodge in Deep Creek.  It’s peaceful and relaxing.

 

Favorite restaurant?  T & L’s   Hot dogs are my favorite.  I was in a hot dog eating contest in my office ... and won.

 

Best childhood memory?  Every birthday I wore a new dress and a party hat.  I had my favorite cake and got to choose dinner.  I still love my birthday!

Favorite musical group?  The Rolling Stones   

 

Pets?   My son Stephen has a hound dog, June Carter.

 

Hobbies?   Traveling, sporting events, music and concerts.  My favorite cities are New York and Las Vegas.   I also plan annual trips with girlfriends.   What I cherish the most is time with family and friends.  I enjoy decorating and planning menus.  We have Sunday family dinner and celebrate all holidays and birthdays at our home.

 

Interesting fact about you?   I have a passion for sports, especially football.  It was a favorite in my home growing up and still is.  High school, college and NFL.  From September to February most weekends are full of football.   My best gift ever was a trip to the Super Bowl.  It was a 25th anniversary surprise.
