Bridgeport is conveniently located to several technical centers, colleges and universities.  Students can earn advanced degrees living on campus and still be close to home or they can commute.  Matthew Leach is commuting to earn his degree and working locally.  Please take a moment to meet Matthew.

 

 

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Matthew has lived in Bridgeport for 17 years.  He is a 2012 Bridgeport High School graduate.  He currently is enrolled in the Pierpont Graphic Design program and plans to obtain a degree in Marketing as well.

 

Where are you originally from? He moved to Bridgeport from Hampton, Virginia.  His family came to Bridgeport to work at the FBI.

 

What is your favorite color?  Silver

 

Where do you work? Matthew has worked at Chick-fil-a for five years and is now a graphic design intern for Connect-Bridgeport.

 

Favorite Bridgeport spot?  Matthew’s favorite spot in Bridgeport is the Cinemark Movie Theater at Meadowbrook Mall.

 

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  Matthew’s favorite spot outside Bridgeport is his friend’s cabin in Phillpi.  He enjoys hanging out with his friends and having a good time.

 

Favorite place outside of WV?  Matthew’s favorite place outside of WV is Cedar Point Amusement Park in Ohio.  He loves roller coasters and the big thrill rides.

 

Favorite restaurant? Shogun and Applebee's are his two favorites in the area.

 

Best childhood memory?  Playing Xbox Live with his friend’s after school was his favorite pastime as a child.

 

Favorite musical group? Matthew’s does not have a favorite musical group, but his favorite musical artist is J. Cole. His favorite song is Land of the Snakes.

 

Pets? Two Pug dogs named Andy and Ally.

 

Hobbies? Sketching and exercising. Matt ran on the BHS Cross Country team and BHS Track and Field.

 

Interesting fact about you? Matthew still has one baby tooth.
