City Faces in Different Places

In honor of Veteran's Day this past week, I'd like to introduce you to my friend, Tom Shull. Please take a moment to meet Tom. Many thanks to Tom and all the Veteran's that have served our country.
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Tom grew up in Bridgeport. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1987. He joined the U.S. Army after graduation. He later attended Computer Tech.
Are you married? Yes, to Aimee Shull. They were married in Gatlinburg, TN in 1997. Aimee grew up in Charleston. She moved to Clarksburg in 1984 and graduated from Washington Irving High School in 1988.
Children? Michael, 24, is in the Air Force in London; Philipp, 24, is a civil engineer in Parkersburg; Sarah, 22, is a teacher in Germany; Brooke, 16, is a Junior at BHS and Gabe, 11, is in sixth grade at BMS. Gabe enjoys playing soccer and Brooke is an artist.
What is your favorite color? Black
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Home
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? The towns of Thomas and Davis
Favorite restaurant? Shogun
Favorite musical group? Pearl Jam and the song Just Breathe is his and Aimee’s favorite song.
Pets? Three dogs – a Boxer named Tigger, an American Bulldog named Bandit (adopted from Pet Helpers), a Chihuahua named Lady, a Bearded Dragon (lizard) named Moe, two cats Ryleigh and Ace and three snakes. Ace the cat was a rescue they found on the side of the road while on vacation at Ace Adventure Resort.
Hobbies? Hiking, biking, any activity outdoors and spending time with family and friends are Tom’s hobbies.
Interesting fact about you? Tom served in Desert Storm. He was one of thirty-three MP’s from the 18th MP Brigade that was activated to go to Desert Storm. He was in the Doha Dash. He later served as a Military Police Officer in Fulda, Germany. He saw the fall of the Berlin Wall. Tom was honorably discharged from the Army in 1996.
