City Faces in Different Places

 How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Zach moved to Bridgeport in 1995. He has lived in Bridgeport on and off since then but moved back permanently in 2012.
 
Where are you originally from?  He was born in Clarksburg and grew up in North View.  He went to Liberty High School until sophomore year and then moved to Bridgeport.  He is a 1998 Bridgeport graduate.  He obtained his B.S. in Computer Science from WVU in 2004.
 
Are you married? No
 
Children? Zach has two children.  Logan, 9, is plays Bridgeport Jerry West Basketball and soccer. Kylee, 6, wants to be a veterinarian with purple hair. Both children attend Johnson Elementary school, Logan is in fourth grade and Kylee in first grade.
 
What is your favorite color? WVU blue, he bleeds the “Old Gold and Blue”.
 
Where do you work? He has been a systems engineer at MITRE, Inc. for  2+ years.
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Meagher’s Irish Pub
 
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium and Seneca Rocks are his favorites.
 
Favorite place outside of WV? Emerald Isle, NC
 
Favorite restaurant? Meagher’s Irish Pub and the Devil's Cut Wings are his favorite dish.
 
Best childhood memory? Zach feels fortunate to have many happy memories but one of his happiest and proudest memories was being part of a three-time State Champion Harrison County Babe Ruth All-Star team.
 
Favorite musical group? Dave Matthews Band
 
Pets?  He and the kids recently got their first pet, an insane kitten named Maui.
 
Hobbies?  Spending time with his kids, watching WVU Football, reading, and lifting
 
Interesting fact about you? Zach is the Commissioner of the Bridgeport Jerry West League.
