How long have you lived in Bridgeport?  Alexis moved to Bridgeport in 1995. 
 
Where are you originally from? Stonewood, she is a 1986 graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School.  She obtained her degree in Interior Design from WVU in 1990.
 
Are you married? Yes, to Bill Behrens. They were married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Stonewood in 1992. Bill obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics with an emphasis on accounting in 1989 and a Master's of Professional Accounting in 1990. 
 
Children? Inez, 12, is in sixth grade at St. Mary's Elementary School.  She runs cross country, plays volleyball and soccer.  She has danced at Rebecca's for eight years.  Will, 10, is in fifth grade at St. Marys. He plays soccer and is very active in Boy Scouts.  Both Inez and Will are active in Bridgeport Chiefs 4H Club.
 
What is your favorite color? Red
 
Where do you work? Alexis has been a senior project manager and interior designer at WVU Medicine (Ruby Memorial Hospital) for 25 years.
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot? City Park
 
Favorite place in WV? Jackson's Mill
 
Favorite place outside of WV? Southern Utah and Spain
 
Favorite restaurant? Provence Market
 
Best childhood memory? Alexis remembers sitting on the front porch and watching thunderstorms with her parents.
 
Favorite musical group? Rod Stewart
 
Pets? Beta fish named Bernie
 
Hobbies? Crafting, traveling and painting
 
Interesting fact about you? Alexis is the youngest of five children and a second generation American.  Both sets of grandparents were immigrants.  She is also a 21 year member of the GFWC Bridgeport Junior Woman's Club.
