City Faces in Different Places

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Pete grew up in Bridgeport.  He is a 1989 BHS graduate.  He graduated from WVU in 1993 with a Marketing degree. He now lives in Charleston.
 
Children? Pete has two boys – Grant, soon to be 14, will be a freshman at George Washington High School and plays football and golf.  Garrett, 11, will attend John Adams Middle School as a sixth grader.  He plays basketball, soccer, baseball and golf.
 
Married? No 
 
What is your favorite color? Blue
 
Where do you work? Pete is a senior manager at Ultragenyx.  He’s been in the pharma/bio-tech industry for twenty years.
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Pete Dye Golf Course
 
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  Old White Golf Course at the Greenbrier and Mountaineer Field.
 
Favorite place outside of WV? Hilton Head Island, South Carolina is his favorite place to visit because of the great courses, relaxing atmosphere and the beach.
 
Favorite restaurant? Wonder Bar for steak, pasta and salad
 
Best childhood memory? Pete threw the pass that won the State AA Football Championship in 1988 in four over-times.  The team went undefeated 13-0 that year.
 
Favorite musical group? Dave Matthews Band
 
Pets? No
 
Hobbies? Golf, coaching his son’s youth sports, relaxing at the beach and hanging out with all his good friends
 
Interesting fact about you? Pete played basketball and football for BHS.  He played a year of college basketball at Frostburg State University before transferring to WVU.
