City Faces in Different Places

Please take a moment to meet this week’s City Face Gina Yaquinta Lutyens, sponsored by Higinbotham & Higinbotham, PLLC:
 
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Gina moved to Bridgeport in 1995 prior to her 1st grade year at Johnson Elementary School. Gina graduated from BHS in 2007.
 
Where are you originally from? Gina moved here from Rockville, Maryland.  
 
Are you married? Yes, to Nathaniel “Looch” in Morgantown in 2009.  Looch is a 2006 BHS graduate and the Younglife Area Director for Harrison County.  Looch is also a BHS boy's cross country and track and field coach.
 
Children? Gina and Looch have one son, Jimmy, who is a little over a month old.
 
What is your favorite color? Purple
 
Where do you work? Gina is a speech therapist for Harrison County Board of Education.  She currently works at Johnson Elementary, BMS and BHS.  She is also a Younglife leader and a coach for BHS girls cross country and track and field.
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Gina enjoys being at the BHS track.  She loves spending time coaching the kids and seeing them progress and meet their goals.  She also loves Friday night football games and seeing the community support.
 
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Morgantown has great dining and things to do.  She and Looch both attended WVU and have fond memories of their college days in Morgantown, as well as their wedding.
 
Favorite place outside of WV? Navarre, Florida is a favorite destination for Gina.  Looch’s parents live in Navarre and it’s a wonderful place to visit.
 
Favorite restaurant? Oliverio’s Ristorante is her pick and she loves the baked penne.
 
Best childhood memory? Gina was a monkey in the Aladdin production at the Benedum Civic Center.  It kick-started her love of theater and participating in school plays, etc.  She also cherishes her third grade memories in Mrs. Kay Burnett's class. She remembers the volunteer, Mrs. Les Filicsky and all the fun units.  She still remembers facts about her assigned President John Tyler and her assigned state, Missouri.
 
Favorite musical group? David Crowder
 
Pets? No
 
Hobbies? Baking and cooking
 
Interesting fact about you? Gina is under five feet tall, she is 4’11”.
