How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Sophie, 19, is an exchange student hosted by Jimmy and Melissa Miller and family. She arrived on August 13 and is here for the school year at Bridgeport High School.
Where are you originally from? Hattingen, Germany 
Are you married? No
Children? No
What is your favorite color? red and royal blue
Where do you work? Sophie is a student at Bridgeport High School.
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Almost Heaven Desserts
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Sophie visited Valley Falls in autumn and found it to be very beautiful.
Favorite place outside of WV? Big Sur, California
Favorite restaurant? Almost Heaven Desserts
Best childhood memory? Her family owned a weekend home in the Netherlands, about 45 minutes away from their home. They would go every weekend and those times spent together with her family are cherished.
Favorite musical group? She enjoys listening to many different types of music.
Pets? Sophie has a dog named Romy.
Hobbies? Singing, dancing, running track and weight lifting
Interesting fact about you? Sophie is a member of the BHS Track and Field team. She has visited the United States three times and has fallen in love with West Virginia.
