The board of directors of the Associated Businesses of the Bridgeport has scheduled a date night for small business owners. Mixing business with pleasure, the event will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015. 

Meagher’s Irish Pub at Charles Point will be hosting the Fall Fest event. Owners Tim and Jade Meagher have planned an Irish theme of food and beer sampling from one of their distributors.  The event begins at 6 p.m. 

Following dinner, Larry Batten of the Small Business Administration will provide information to help business owners and lead the group in an interactive game, Marketing 101. 

The evening will conclude with the announcing of the ABB Main Street Scarecrow 2015 winner.  A traveling plaque will be awarded to the winner and will proudly be displayed at their business location.
