Canterbury is Featured Speaker at Tonight's GFWC Meeting; Public Invited

West Virginia GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) Junior Director Cathy Jo Canterbury will be the guest speaker at the GFWC Woman’s Club of Bridgeport meeting, 7 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Benedum Civic Center.
The club extends an open invitation to the public and encourages anyone interested in joining either the Junior or General clubs to attend tonight's meeting. It is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the role of GFWC.
Canterbury, who resides in Charleston, will be traveling around West Virginia and across the United States attending meetings and speaking to Woman’s Clubs during her administration.
She is pictured during her recent presentation at the GFWC Summer Conference held in Charleston. Members of Bridgeport’s local club who attended the conference were Ruth Allen, Linda Lemasters, Terri Bracken, Linda Rohrig, Shirley Hadorn, Brenda Swiger and Barbara Wilburn.
