West Virginia GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) Junior Director Cathy Jo Canterbury will be the guest speaker at the GFWC Woman’s Club of Bridgeport meeting, 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Benedum Civic Center.

 

Canterbury, who resides in Charleston, will be traveling around West Virginia and across the United States attending meetings and speaking to Woman’s Clubs during her administration.

 

The club extends an open invitation to the public and encourages anyone interested in joining either the Junior or General clubs to attend Thursday’s meeting. It is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the role of GFWC.
