At Monday’s meeting of the Bridgeport Satellite of the Harrison County Seniors, members dressed in their Halloween best. From left are Judy Osborn, Eugene Jaumot, Ruth Jaumot, Shirley Dodd, Bob Allen, Ruth Allen, Shirley Masto, Rachel Underwood, Shirlene Isabella, Sam Isabella and Willa Brand.
At the meeting, the group enjoyed a couple of "Halloween themed" games - Halloween bingo, and a Halloween word search, recognized those having birthdays in October, heard from those who had taken the train trip last month, and enjoyed a covered dish lunch together.
They also held an election of officers for the next two years. President Ruth Allen, Vice President Rachel Underwood, Secretary Carol Hatfield assisted by Shirley Masto, and Treasurer Judy Osborn assisted by Karen Dean.
New members are always welcome. The group meets on the third Monday of each month at the Civic Center in the all- purpose room. November's meeting has been moved to the second Monday because it would fall during Thanksgiving week. Meals for the November and December meeting will be catered and reservations are required.
