Absentee Voting Applications by Mail Now Available

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on May 02, 2019 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Applications for absentee voting by mail are now available from Bridgeport City Clerk, Donna Krivosky. Ballots for absentee voting will be mailed out as soon as applications are received.

Voters can request an absentee ballot if they are not able to vote on June 11, 2019 or participate in early voting. In order to receive an absentee ballot, registered voters must first fill out an application and return it to the City Clerk’s office. A ballot cannot be mailed out without an application. If you are on the “permanent” absentee list, you will be receiving your ballot automatically.

Applications to vote absentee by mail will be accepted through June 5, 2019. The City Clerk’s office is located at 515 West Main Street, Bridgeport, WV 26330.

The candidate for City Recorder is Harry “Hank” M. Murray III. The candidates for City Council include Don Burton, James “Jim” Yeater, Jeff Smell, Adam Starkey, and Donnie Tate.
