Attorney General Morrisey's Office Announces March Mobile Office Hours for NCWV

Attorney General Patrick Morrisey announced that a consumer representative from the Attorney General’s Office will conduct mobile office hours during March in several north-central West Virginia counties. The representative will educate consumers on the latest scams in the region and answer questions on how the consumers can protect their personal, identifiable information.
 
Pam Krushansky, a consumer representative and compliance specialist with the Office, will host the mobile office hours, which are as follows:
 
*             10-11 a.m. March 3 at the Taylor County Senior Center, U.S. Route 119, Grafton;
*             11 a.m.-noon March 4 at the Clarksburg Senior Center, 500 W. Main St., Clarksburg;
*             1:30-3 p.m. March 4 at the Harrison County Library. 404 W. Pike St., Clarksburg;
*             10:30-11:30 a.m. March 9 at the Keyser City Council Chambers 111 N. Davis St., Keyser;
*             11 a.m.-noon March 17 at the Marion County Senior Center, 105 Maplewood Drive, Fairmont;
*             2-3 p.m. March 17 at the Marion County Library, 321 Monroe St., Fairmont;
*             10-11 a.m. March 18 at the Tucker County Senior Center, 206 Third St., Parsons;
*             10:30-11:30 a.m. March 25 at the Lewis County Senior Center, 171 W. Second St., Weston;
*             10-11 a.m. March 26 at the Upshur County Senior Center, 28 N. Kanawha St., Buckhannon;
*             11 a.m.-noon March 27 at the Randolph County Senior Center, Fifth Street and Railroad Avenue in Elkins; and
*             10-11 a.m. March 30 at the Barbour County Senior Center, 101 Church St., Philippi.
 
“National Consumer Protection Week is March 1-7, and as part of that, our Office is placing a special emphasis on educating consumers about scams and the risk of identity theft. We hope consumers will take time during the week to ensure they are protected against people who may attempt to take advantage of them,” Attorney General Morrisey said.
 
Additionally, Krushansky will have a booth March 7 and 8 at the Fishing and Hunting Show at Mylan Park in Morgantown. Consumers are encouraged to stop by the booth to pick up the latest materials from the Office.
