The community is invited for a free holiday treat this evening at Bridgeport Public Library. A live, free performance of the Bridgeport High School Jazz Ensemble will take place at 6 p.m. The annual holiday concert has become a tradition. Under the direction of Chris Hayslette, the BHS Jazz Ensemble is highlighted year-round through various community events. Most recently, the ensemble played at Bridgeport’s Light Up Night, held Thurs., Dec. 1 and hosted by the Associated Businesses of Bridgeport. See a snippet of that holiday performance below.
