Rylee Chamberlain is not just another pretty face. After pursuing her passion in modeling, it would have been easy to sink into an industry that can be based on narcissism.

 

Instead, Chamberlain sought out a way to use her talent to benefit others. She partnered with Seeking Stars Art, an entertainment company that does creative fundraisers, themed photo shoots, runway events and more, with proceeds benefiting charitable organizations.  

 

Chamberlain began her modeling career last year after modeling in the Bridgeport High School Prom Fashion Show. That was followed by photoshoots with Jade Envy Formals and two unique photoshoots with Paulina Slivka Photography. She was also the Senior Representative for both TBC Imagery and Captured by Cassandra. 

 

After completing Seeking Stars Art’s Summer Vibes training, the BHS senior began walking the runway for charity.  She will be featured on the runway again on March 28 at the YMCA in Fairmont and has worked with the Art-in-the-Burg community arts celebration in Middleburg, Virginia.  Each charitable event allows models to give back to local communities and organizations while celebrating the art that is fashion.

 

“Many runway outfits are not practical for everyday use,” said Chamberlain. “It’s neat to wear the art on our bodies and get creative with hair and makeup. I feel confident and creative and get to share that side of me. I also enjoy doing plain and simple photoshoots that show a different side of me.”

 

Through runway shows, events and photoshoots, modeling has allowed Chamberlain to break free from her everyday reality and shine through images and events that benefit others.  

 

“My experience with Seeking Stars Art has been really positive,” she said. “The other models are really sweet and I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life.”
