Bridgeport native Amanda Mazzie is helping spread holiday cheer this season.

On Dec. 19, Mazzie, who is employed by Mylan Pharmaceuticals in Morgantown, showed up at WVU Medicine Children’s with a truck full of toys. The toys were distributed as part of the non-profit organization Tori’s Toy Drive.

Mazzie and her friend, Tiffany Pierce, started the drive after each lost a family member to cancer. Mazzie’s sister, Tori Clevenger, passed away 14 years ago to brain cancer at the age of 10.

The mission of Tori’s Toy Drive, now in its fifth year, is to bring smiles to the boys and girls at WVU Medicine Children’s.

This year, Tori’s Toy Drive partnered with Mylan in hopes of collecting a large number of toys. Employees at Mylan, including the Women of Steel and co-workers across Morgantown, responded with hundreds of presents just in time for the holiday.
