Bridgeport to See 13 Sections of City Facing Potential Water Issues for Period of Sept. 19 through Sept. 30

Please be advised that the Bridgeport Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the City of Bridgeport. This is an on-going project that will continue through Fall 2022.
Due to weather delays, Weeks 16 & 17 were not completed as originally scheduled.
City Employees will be flushing fire hydrants, weather permitting, Monday, September 19, 2022 through Friday, September 30, 2022, in the following areas of Bridgeport:

It is possible, but not likely, that residents may experience some discoloration, cloudy water, low pressure, or temporary loss of service of water during this period. The City will not be responsible for any damage caused by discolored water.
