Please be advised that the Bridgeport Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the City of Bridgeport. This is an on-going project that will continue through Fall 2024.
City Employees will be flushing fire hydrants, weather permitting, Monday, May 13, 2024 through Friday, May 24, 2024, in the following areas of Bridgeport:

- Chenoweth Dr.
- Elm Dr.
- Gabriel Brothers Plaza
- Home Depot Plaza
- Locust Dr.
- Lodgeville Rd.
- Poplar St.
- Sycamore Dr.
- Thompson Dr.
- Twin Oaks Dr.
It is possible, but not likely, that residents may experience some discoloration, cloudy water, low pressure, or temporary loss of service of water during this period. The City will not be responsible for any damage caused by discolored water.
