Delays Expected, Caution Suggested as Lane Closure in Place on Heavily Used Bridge in Marion County

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS
 
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Traffic Delay/Lane Closure on County Route 310, David Morgan Bridge (3rd Street Bridge) that began Thursday, Sept. 06, 2018 and will run through Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018 from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. (24/hr).
  
The purpose for the delay/closure is to latex overlay the existing bridge structure on David Morgan Bridge (3rd Street Bridge). 
 
Traffic will always be two lane, two-way traffic.  Traffic will be narrowed down to two (10 ft, 7 ½ inch) lanes.  This switch in traffic pattern will be in place day and night until the end of October 2018. 
 
Alternate Routes will be US 250, High Level Bridge andFairmont Avenue.  Use caution and expect delays. 
 
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
