By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on October 19, 2021 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

The GFWC Woman's Club of Bridgeport, Bridgeport Lions Club and Bridgeport Fire Department ask for your help as they collect items to restock the shelves at Shepherd's Corner. Food and supplies collected will be distributed to area families in need.

Pickup is scheduled for 10 a.m. through noon on Saturday, Oct. 23.

Volunteers will drive through neighborhoods picking up donations. Leave donations by your mailbox or at the end of your driveway by 10 a.m. that day. If you prefer, you may drop off items at Bridgeport Fire Department or Bridgeport Municipal Building any day this week, through Oct.22.  (See a list of suggested items below.)

Cash donations are also accepted. They will be used to purchase meat, butter, bread and milk. If you prefer to mail a check, make payable to Shepherd's Corner, P.O. Box 101, Bridgeport, WV 26330.
