In 2014, Connect-Bridgeport reported on the evolvement of Oliverio's Peppers, which started as a small kitchen operation and over the years grew into a high-tech operation producing more than 20,000 pints in a single work day. The story also reported that the company, at the time owned by Bridgeport  siblings and children of the company's founder, had potential to see the products on store shelves nationwide.
