Monday night's Bridgeport City Council meeting featured a couple of special recognitions. Officially being sworn into his position as Bridgeport firefighter/EMT was Brandon Marshall. Mayor Bob Greer did the honors. Greer also read and presented a proclamation declaring October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Bridgeport Fire Chief Robert Seccuro provided his department's annual report to Council. Details about that report are forthcoming on Connect-Bridgeport.
