The city's fall banners have been placed and mums and pumpkins are popping up along the Main Street corridor. Enjoy this early-fall photo
gallery, taking on a recent sunny, but mild day.
Next month, the annual display of scarecrows will be featured on Main Street. The display and contest is sponsored by the Associated Businesses of Bridgeport. Any member business is invited to design a scarecrow and will be assigned a city lamp post for its display. A membership form can be downloaded HERE. Dues are $95 per year. Contest coordinator Hilary Gonzalez said scarecrows need to be finished and displayed by Fri., Oct. 18 and voting will take place on Connect-Bridgeport.com Oct. 19 through Nov. 1. The winner will be announced on Nov. 4.
