While we celebrate International Women’s Month in March, a local agency will be hosting a unique event geared toward women only.  HOPE, Inc. will sponsor “Get Your Freak On,” a spring fundraiser that promises to be full of fun, prizes and entertainment.

 

The event will take place on March 24 from 6:30p.m. to 11:30p.m. at the Village Square Conference Center in Clarksburg.  The evening will feature over twenty women-centered vendors, live entertainment, dinner, drinks, dancing, raffle baskets and giveaways. 

 

Prize drawings will take place every hour, with a grand prize drawing at the end of the night.  Women can receive an extra entry into the grand prize drawing by donating any personal care item, used cell phone or paper products to HOPE, Inc.

 

Gypsy Soul Burlesque Show will be performing and Maggie Wright’s Pole Dance Fitness will be giving demonstrations.  Donna Sims will do mini psychic readings as well.

 

HOPE, Inc. is a United Way agency providing confidential crisis support services to victims of sexual assault and/or domestic violence.  They provide a 24-hour crisis line and emergency shelter for women and children, as well as ongoing advocacy and professional counseling.

 

Tickets for “Get Your Freak On” are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.  VIP tables are also available (seating for eight) for $150.  Tickets can be purchased at Village Square Conference Center or at their website, www.villagesquarewv.com.
