As a dedicated sales executive in the financial services business, Shane Mardis conducts extensive research to ensure his clients have sound investments.  When researching Medical Marijuana, Inc. (MJMA) two years ago, he was fascinated by the many benefits of CBD oil. On October 17 and 18, Mardis will be conducting an informational session at Bridgeport’s newest business, HempWorks, located at Averil Place.

 

“There are many companies out there wanting people to buy their products,” said Mardis. “It is important to do the homework and ask questions.  There are many inferior products or products that are not appropriate for certain people and we want to inform attendees of the benefits of pure CBD oil and what to look for in a quality product.”

 

Mardis’s informational session will provide an overview of the company, the products, and the benefits of CBD oil, followed by a question and answer session.  The sessions begin at 7 p.m. and preregistration is required as there are limited spaces.  Wednesday’s session is currently full, but spots are still available for Thursday evening. Reservations can be made by contacting Smith at 304-694-2472.

 

HempWorks will be offering pure CBD oil, a derivative of the hemp plant that has no psychoactive ingredients but has been proven to reduce inflammation, aid with epilepsy, and ease anxiety, among other benefits.  Owner Mary Frances Smith will be hosting a grand opening for HempWorks on November 12 but will be open November 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Artworks Christmas in November event.
