Simpson Elementary School releases important dates for back-to-school 2017.

 

Open enrollment for students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade who have just moved into the Simpson area, will be held 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Tues., Aug. 1. Parents must bring the child's state live birth certificate, current immunization record and property tax receipt/bill. A back-to-school pool party will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6 at Bridgeport City Pool. 

 

An open house will be held 3:30-5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, familiarizing all students with Simpson Elementary. 

 

The first day of school for students in grades first through fifth will be Tues., Aug. 15, the first day of kindergarten Mon., Aug. 21 and the first day of Pre-K Monday, Aug. 28.
