The Medbrook Children's Charity held their annual golf tournament Monday at Pete Dye in Bridgeport. Many golfers and volunteers were on the Pete Dye campus throughout the weekend to raise money for non-profits who are helping kids right here in Harrison County. Organizer Kelly Nelson likes to tease his donors that this is a Party with a Purpose, but this year he made sure to talk about what exactly the charity does. Hundreds of thousands are raised and given back to the community every year. This year, Nelson says Purpose with a Party fits a little better.
