Photos: UHC Pediatric Children's Safety Fair

The pediatric staff at United Hospital Center hosted a children's safety fair on Monday, for ages 3-7. The fair was held at UHC as children, parents and teachers were invited to attend this annual event.
Several local agencies volunteered to participate and provided the following information and services:
Bridgeport Fire Department- Fire Safety
Bridgeport Police- ATV Safety
Clarksburg Police- Safety
Dental Health- Dental Hygiene with Wilson-Martino Dental Associates
Germ Safety- Harrison Country School Nurses and UHC infection control
Halloween Safety- UHC Pediatric Nurses
Medication Safety- UHC Pediatric Nurses and Pharmacists
"The purpose of the Children's Safety Fair is to help families to build good health and safety habits into their daily lives," said Sharon Mitchell, RN, UHC pediatrics nurse manager. "The information was presented to the children in a non threatening environment through a fun and entertaining manner."
Around 90 kids were registered to attend this years event!
