Photos and Video: It's a Wrap for "A Promise to Astrid"

For the past month so, JC Films has been in Bridgeport and surrounding areas shooting its current film, "A Promise to Astrid." Based on the book by the same name by Michael Tourville, the movie tells the story of a an elderly woman of Norweigan descent who - by paying it forward - affects an entire community. The movie stars Lula Hansen and Jeremy Gladen as Cindy and MIke Tourville, JoAnn Peterson as Astrid and 
Dean Cain as Pastor Scott Seabury. Look for upcoming features on each of those actors.
Below is video of a scene filmed Thursday at Bridgeport United Methodist Church and at the gallery link are various photos capturing the local shoot. Some photos are courtesy of JC Films; others captured by actors, crew members, extras and others on the set.
Several locals also made their acting debuts in the movie.
