State Attorney General "Mobile Office" Coming to NCWV; Local Visit Sept. 23

Attorney General Patrick Morrisey announced that a representative of the Attorney General’s Office will conduct mobile office hours in nine north-central West Virginia counties during September. The representative will address any concerns local consumers have and provide them with tools and tips to protect their information from scammers.
 
Pam Krushansky, a consumer representative and compliance specialist with the Office, will host the mobile office hours, which are scheduled as follows: 
 
10-11 a.m. Sept. 2 at the Taylor County Senior Center, located on U.S. Route 119, Grafton;
10:30-11:30 a.m. Sept 8 at the Keyser City Council Chambers, 111 N. Davis St., Keyser;
10-11 a.m. Sept. 10 at the Preston County Commission meeting room, 106 W. Main St., Kingwood;
10-11 a.m. Sept 11 at the Tucker County Senior Center, 206 Third St., Parsons;
Noon-1 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Mountain Top Senior Center, W.Va. Route 32, Thomas;
2:30-3:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Marion County Library, 321 Monroe St., Fairmont;
10-11 a.m. Sept. 23 at the Harrison County Public Library, 404 W. Pike St., Clarksburg;
10-11 a.m. Sept. 24 at the Lewis County Senior Center, 171 W. 2nd St., Weston; and
10-11 a.m. Sept. 29 at the Barbour County Senior Center, 101 Church St., Philippi.
 
“Our Office encourages consumers to attend one of the mobile office hours closest to them to learn more about the type of scams in their area, and how to protect their personal information,” Attorney General Morrisey said. “Our Office encourages anyone with questions or concerns to attend and speak with the consumer representative.”
 
Additionally, Krushansky will accompany Attorney General Morrisey at the Monongalia town hall meeting, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 18 at the West Virginia University Law School, Law School Drive in Morgantown.
 
The mobile office hours and town hall meetings are open to the public; reservations are not required.
