Video and Photos: Johnson Elementary Students Enjoy Thursday's Groundbreaking Festivities

Students of Johnson Elementary School got a brief break from class Thursday as they gathered to witness the groundbreaking for the construction of their new school, projected to open in August of 2018. Providing special music were fifth grade students Ava Turpin, Dena Friend, Jordan Groves and Taylor Bowen, who performed their unique version of "Best Day of My Life."
