West Virginia Wesleyan College Concert Band to Present Spring Concert

The Concert Band of West Virginia Wesleyan College will present their spring concert on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the Culpepper Auditorium of the Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts.  The concert is free and open to the public.
 
The ensemble, under the direction of Logan Lindsey, director of marching band, will be performing pieces by Gustav Holst, James Curnow, James Barnes, John Phillip Sousa, and more.  Guest conductors include Dr. James Moore, associate professor of music and chair of the department, and Tyler Perske, a sophomore music education major from Frostburg, MD. Perske was the winner of the ensemble’s first conducting competition.
