Many of us instinctively look at our wrists throughout the day. Some check the time, some check the number of steps, and some just admire a valued piece of jewelry.  When local Stella and Dot Brand Ambassador Stephanie Iaquinta decided to find a way to show appreciation to the health providers at United Hospital Center, it was her wrist that inspired her.

I wanted to find an item that represented the courage, strength and endurance they have displayed during the front-line fight against COVID-19,” said Iaquinta.  “The Stella and Dot inspirational bracelets were ideal, so I worked with my loyal customers to raise money to purchase them for the health care workers.”

Together, the group raised over $1500.00 to provide a large number of essential workers with an inspirational bracelet.  Iaquinta worked with Lora Edgell, Director of Devolpment at United Hospital Center to distribute the bracelets.  Some donors sponsored specific healthcare workers and some were selected randomly by coordinators at the hospital.

“I am lucky to have a company that encourages community service,” said Iaquinta of the apparel, accessories and skincare brand.  “I hope that having a tangible reminder of their strength during this time will help healthcare workers to be inspired.”
