Dear Friends of YCF:

We hope this finds you doing well during these challenging, unprecedented times.

At YCF, we have been checking in with nonprofits serving our region to gauge how they have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As you can imagine, many are experiencing increased demand for services combined with diminishing resources.

Recognizing the tremendous impact of this crisis on nonprofit agencies, the YCF Board of Directors has established an Emergency Impact Fund for North Central West Virginia. YCF made a $10,000 contribution to initiate this fund, which will support nonprofits in the counties we serve: Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, and Taylor.  One hundred percent of donations to this fund will be distributed to nonprofits in our region, with priority given to those addressing immediate human needs.

Nonprofits will be able to apply for this emergency grant funding through a streamlined, online application beginning April 1. Depending on the donations we receive and how long the crisis continues, YCF will make grants to nonprofits on a rolling basis.

We encourage businesses and individuals to join us in supporting the nonprofit community by contributing to the Emergency Impact Fund for North Central West Virginia. To donate:
  • Checks made payable to “YCF” may be sent to PO Box 409, Morgantown, WV 26507. Please include “Emergency Impact Fund” in the memo line.
  • Contributions may be made online by clicking on the Donate button below.

Many thanks to those who have already made a donation.

Please note our office is currently closed to the public, but we are available by email or phone:  info@ycfwv.org or 304-296-3433.

With our appreciation,
