BHS Alum Wyatt Ray Receives Outstanding Research in Psychology Award from Marshall University

Wyatt Ray, a 2019, Bridgeport High School graduate has received the 2023 Outstanding Research in Psychology award from Marshall University.
Ray conducted research in the perceptions of science and scientists by the public during the late stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He presented his research during the Marshall University COLA conference in 2022. His presentation garnered him the Stewart H. Thomas award for research in his field.
In addition to his awards, Ray was accepted into the accelerated masters program at Marshall. He graduated on Saturday, April 29 with a Bachelor in Psychology and will obtain his Masters in May of 2024.
After earning his Masters, he plans to purse a Ph.D in Experimental Psychology.
Wyatt is the son of Jeff and Kimberly Ray of Bridgeport.
