BHS French Honorary Inducts New Members

Sunday afternoon, the BHS French program held its annual honorary induction as 18 new members qualified for membership. French teacher and French Club sponsor Madame Deanna Garrett explained that membership qualifications are very stringent, including but not limited to the maintenance of a B average in all classes during the semester of selection.
Current members facilitated the ceremony, explaining eligibility of requirements, a description of the French Honorary and its goals. Also explained was the history behind the candlelight ceremony. Those current members are Leudeline Chapman, Kyleigh Church, Olivia Friel, Emily Griffith, Alisha Hashmi, Alexis Jones, Seefia Lateef, Molly Layne, Hannah McCall, Livy McFee, Isabella McMillion, Katie Mossburg, Minahal Naweed, Sarah Reppert, Paige Rice, Mallory Rinker, Emily Trickett, Mitchell Winkie and Josh Wright.
Qualifying this year for La Societe Honoraire de Francais are Taylor Abraham, Stephanie Alvaro, Lindsey Berardi, Savannah Blythe, Tori Coleman, Abbey Cottrill, Autumn Fiest, Anna Hague, Julia Johnson, Timothy Kinney, Eva Macfarland, Sarah Momen, Troy Pallay, Ameera Salman, Titus Smith, Mackenzie Steele, Ryley Sturm and Shae Tomasik,
The ceremony was held at the Bridgeport High School Auditorium. Following the induction ceremony, a reception was held in the school cafeteria. See more photos at the gallery link below.
