BMS Student MacKenzie Gould Takes Third Place in Exponent Telegram Regional Spelling Bee

MacKenzie Gould, a sixth grader at Bridgeport Middle School, took third place in Wednesday evening's Exponent Telegram Regional Spelling Bee. Representing Harrison County, she was one of 41 participants in the event which was held at Bridgeport Conference Center. She earned the chance to compete in Wednesday’s event by capturing the Harrison County Spelling Bee victory in January.
MacKenzie is the daughter of Tracy and T. Keith Gould of Bridgeport. She is a member of the Bridgeport Middle School Danceline and recently claimed second place in the Bridgeport Middle School Modern Woodmen of America Civic Oration Contest.
