Although it is barely November, Santa and his elves will be arriving for a sneak peak on November 13 at Bridgeport High School. In the first annual “Elf-a-Palooza,” families are invited for a free showing of the movie Elf and the opportunity to meet Buddy the Elf and Santa.  The event will also feature autographed copies of local author, Colleen Driscoll’s books about Piper the Elf and have elf hats and chocolates for sale. 

 

In addition to all things elfy, there will also be a bake sale, refreshments, and a vendor showcase of over 20 holiday-inspired vendors with wares for sale.  A special raffle will also take place. Children can buy tickets for $1 each or 6 for $5 in order to win a visit from Buddy the Elf at their elementary school holiday party. 

 

The vendor showcase will be in the BHS Cafeteria from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the movie will be shown at 5 p.m. in the auditorium. Enter the school through the auditorium. All proceeds from the event will benefit the flood victims of Richwood, WV. Vendors are still be accepted and additional information can be obtained by emailing trinarunner@gmail.com.
