The Harrison County Social Studies Fair took place Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center in Bridgeport. Competing were students from throughout the county who had won first place in their respective elementary and middle schools. Judges said they were quite impressed with the ingenuity, research and speaking skills displayed. Several Bridgeport students received first place and will advance to the regional level. A list of winners will be forthcoming.
